Chicken % Gnocci soup with books on the side

Back to work for us!

Today was more practice, we're running out of commands to learn, and then lunch at Olive Garden (Darden Restaurants, the owners of Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc. is a big sponsor of CCI) and a trip to Borders Books.  Susan and I had the never ending soup & salad (none of those naughty breadsticks!) and Leeta was to model of restraint staying quiet under the table to whole time.

We headed to Borders afterwards and had to do most of the commands we've learned while in the store.  Working on things such as "under," "back," "shake,", "get," and "hold."  We were also able to do a bit of shopping.

Things went pretty well, though the other teams and possibly us were not as attentive, especially towards the safety of our dogs as we should have been.  Lori, the project leader got on our collected cases about that.

I think we did fine, I really try hard to make sure both Leeta & Susan are safe and focused on the task at hand.  We didn't get any direct reprimand, so I don't know for sure.  Will be extra diligent tomorrow when we visit the Florida Mall.  For those of you outside Orlando, that's the main mall where tourists, especially those outside the US, shop.

It's Orlando's busiest mall and we could have people approaching to pet Leeta who don't speak English.

After the trip, Susan took a nap and I went back to work on commands with Leeta.  Obviously I  was tired, since the commands didn't work as well on her as they normally do.  I wasn't as matter of fact as I should have been.

Things are looking good for you 3. I hope you don't spoil her as much as our Ginger is spoiled. She thinks she owns this house and lets us live here.

Of course, Ginger doesn't get to go to restaurants, bookstores and malls. Thank Goodness!

Keep up the good work. We will be thinking of you on graduation day. Do you get to march in to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance and toss your mortarboards in the air?
